FAQ
Account and pricing
Is Fransys free to start?
Yes. Upon account creation, €5 in credits are offered without a credit card. That's enough to create a test cluster and deploy your first applications.
How does billing work?
Fransys operates with a credit system in euros. You load credits onto your account and they are deducted based on the resources consumed (CPU, RAM, storage, IPs, load balancers). No fixed subscription — you only pay for what you use.
What happens if my credits run out?
Your services remain online during a grace period. Reload your credits to avoid any interruption.
Clusters
How long does it take to deploy a cluster?
The initial deployment can take up to 15 minutes. During this time, the Degraded status is normal — Fransys configures the entire Kubernetes cluster before bringing it online.
Can I have multiple clusters?
Yes, with no limit. You can create as many clusters as needed, on different providers and regions.
Can I change provider or region afterwards?
You cannot migrate an existing cluster to another provider. However, you can create a new cluster on the desired provider/region and move your projects to it.
Deployment
What languages and frameworks are supported?
Fransys natively supports Laravel, React, Angular, and Vue. For any other language or framework (Next.js, Django, FastAPI, Go, etc.), use the Docker block with your own image or Dockerfile.
My deployment failed, what should I do?
Fransys performs an automatic rollback to the last stable version in case of failure. Check the logs of your block to identify the error (Logs tab in the block's configuration panel).
Can I deploy from a monorepo?
Yes. Fransys supports monorepos with adapted CI configuration. → Monorepo CI/CD Guide
Security and data
Where is my data hosted?
Exclusively in Europe, on providers under European law (Hetzner, Scaleway, OVH, Outscale). You choose the country and region when creating the cluster. → Data Sovereignty
Is SSL included?
Yes. Every deployed application automatically receives an SSL certificate via Let's Encrypt — generated, applied, and renewed without intervention. → Domains and SSL
Can I leave Fransys and export my configurations?
Yes. Fransys runs on standard Kubernetes. You can export your configurations as Helm charts and redeploy them on any Kubernetes cluster. Your code stays in your Git repo, your databases use standard formats. → No Vendor Lock-in
