Credits on Fransys can be used to pay for anything instead of using a payment method.

Here’s how it works:

• Usage and Debt: Throughout the month, your resource consumption accumulates as “debt”. At the end of the billing cycle, we first apply any credits you have and bill the rest with your payment methods, trying them in order.
• Getting Credits: You receive €5 in credits upon signing up, and you can purchase additional credits anytime.
• No Expiration: Credits don’t expire and can be used for any resource, except to purchase more credits.
• Auto-provisioning: if auto-provisioning is turned off, we will only use credits and will not bill anything above. Be mindful as this also means that when your credits run out, we will undeploy all clusters and projects.
